Yes — pairing an RTX 5090 with a budget CPU like a Ryzen 5 or Core i5 will result in a significant CPU bottleneck in many games. We recommend at minimum a Ryzen 7 9800X3D or Intel Core Ultra 7, and ideally a flagship Ryzen 9 or Core i9 to get the most from the card.

What power supply do you include?

All our RTX 5090 builds include a 1200W 80+ Gold or Platinum rated PSU. NVIDIA rates the 5090 at 575W TDP, and with a high-end CPU and other components, a 1200W supply is the correct choice.
