Purpose

This policy ensures transparency and provides a clear overview of our warranty and return processes.

Scope

This policy applies to all customers and transactions involving the sale of goods by We Build The Perfect PC For You Ltd.

Warranty Coverage

  • Duration: Your warranty is valid from the day of purchase for up to three years, beyond the initial 30-day period.
  • Part Failures: If any component of your PC fails during this time, we will arrange for the collection of your PC at no cost to you. We will thoroughly test and investigate the issue, replace any necessary parts, and return the PC to you free of charge.
  • Exclusions:
    • The warranty covers hardware defects and failures but does not include:
      • Accidental damage (e.g., drops, spills).
      • Improper use, such as overloading the system or neglecting maintenance.
      • Unauthorized modifications, including physical alterations or overclocking.
      • Software-related issues, such as operating system errors or third-party software conflicts.
  • Diagnostic Fees: If diagnostic tests reveal that the issue is caused by user error or software conflicts, a diagnostic fee of £65 will apply before repairs proceed.
  • Warranty Transferability: Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

Return Policy

  • 30-Day Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase. After this period, returns will not be accepted.
  • Condition for Returns: PCs must be in their original condition, unused, and include all original packaging and tags. Missing or damaged components may result in additional charges or a reduced refund.
  • Restocking Fee: Returns that do not meet these conditions may incur a restocking fee of up to 50% of the product's original price.
  • Excessive Wear and Use: Items showing minimal signs of use (e.g., slight wear on packaging) may qualify for up to a 50% refund after inspection.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Items showing excessive wear, damage, or modifications will not qualify for a refund and will be returned to the customer as per our Policy on Not Accepting Returns of Old Items.

Additional Policies

  • Transit Damage: If your PC arrives damaged, please report it within 48 hours with photographic evidence to initiate a claim.
  • Post-Warranty Support: After the warranty period, we offer paid diagnostics and repair services at a discounted rate for our customers. Contact us for more information.
  • Return Shipping Responsibility: For verified hardware defects, return shipping costs will be covered by us. For non-warranty issues or user-caused damages, customers are responsible for return shipping costs, including tracking and insurance.
  • Processing Times: Repairs or replacements are typically processed within 5 working days from receipt of the product. Any delays during peak periods will be communicated promptly.
  • Handling Abusive Claims: Fraudulent or abusive claims, such as intentional damage or misuse of return policies, may result in claim denial and potential account suspension.
  • Handling Excessive Use: If an item is returned within 30 days but shows excessive wear, damage, or modifications, we reserve the right to either issue a partial refund (up to 50%) or return the item to the customer without a refund.
  • Inspection Requirement: All returns are subject to inspection to determine eligibility for a refund or return processing.

International Orders — Warranty & Returns

Our full 3-year warranty and 30-day return policy applies to all international orders shipped to the EU, United States, Canada, and Australia. The same standards apply — no reduced coverage for overseas buyers.

  • Warranty Claims (Hardware Defects): If a verified hardware defect occurs within the 3-year warranty period, contact us immediately. We will assess the fault and work with you to find the most practical resolution — which may include arranging return shipping to our UK workshop, reimbursing a local repair for a covered component, or issuing a replacement. We cover all reasonable costs for verified defects.
  • Transit Damage: All international shipments are fully insured for the value of your order. If your PC arrives damaged, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Claims reported after 48 hours cannot be processed.
  • 30-Day Returns (Change of Mind): International buyers may return their PC within 30 days under the same conditions as UK buyers — unused, in original packaging. Return shipping costs to our UK address are the responsibility of the customer for change-of-mind returns. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service.
  • Import Duties on Returns: Our international shipping prices are door-to-door and include all import duties on delivery. If you return a PC, any duties or taxes incurred on the return shipment are the customer's responsibility. We do not refund duties paid on the original order.
  • How to Start an International Claim: Email us at info@webuildtheperfectpcforyoultd.co.uk with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video evidence. We respond within 1 working day.
